About the Press
Crow Hollow Books began as an outlet for editor Jay Sizemore, using print-on-demand publishing as a means of releasing material that was proving difficult to find a home through traditional means. While pursuing this process, he found that he had a knack for formatting manuscripts, and decided to help other writers get their work out into the world.
As part of this process, he also started a journal, Crow Hollow 19, in which 19 poems are published quarterly, choosing work that challenges preconceived notions of acceptability and traditional aesthetics.
Jay Sizemore:
Editor in Chief
Jay Sizemore started writing poetry in his teens and never stopped. After dropping out of college he played in a rock band for a few years, and then picked poetry back up. Since 2012, he has been published in many journals, and put out five chapbooks.
There's nothing like the smell of an old book.
